IFS higher level
The International Food Standard (IFS) was initiated in 2003 by the Handelsverband Deutschland (HDE, Trade Association of Germany) and adopted by other European trade associations as a new standard for the production of private label food. The standard is aimed at product quality improvements and comparability of production facilities of different food producers.
