Schoppe & Schultz became initially known in the 1950s with its ice cream powder LATA that was used by pastry shops and ice cream parlors. Encouraged by this success, the product range was expanded to include other premium natural products such as drinking chocolate and also other high quality ingredients such as hazelnut powder, nougat powder and chocolate powder for pastry shops and the food industry.

Later, innovative products for new markets such as cappuccino, hot and cold chocolate for vending machines, topping powders and coffee creamers for the growing number of vending machines supplemented the portfolio.
