BRC Global Standard Food was developed by a group of British retailers (British Retail Consortium) and established as a mutual standard for food retailers. This standard includes strict specifications from British retailers to their suppliers, for example, the application of HACCP principles, a documented quality management system and compliance with guidelines for processes, products and personnel. |
